At BYBI, we are proud of the youth umpires who ump the games in our younger leagues. It is great experience for them to learn the game and gain a leadership role, plus they earn money enjoying America's favorite pastime. The registrants take a four-week class and must pass a test in order to be a BYBI umpire. In order to be a BYBI umpire, one must be at least a 'baseball age' of 13 , new umpires must also play in our Spring 2024 season in the Senior League. 

The classes will be taught by Umpire Director Ken Sarnie  and will be held Sundays, March 3- 24 from 6pm-8pm at the Old Town Hall Upper Room. These classes are free.
