Fall Ball Sign-Up

Fall Ball 2026 registration is now open for players ages 5–14!

Hey BYBI Fam! There's a reason Fall Ball is one of our favorite seasons in Bellingham. It's a fun, low-pressure opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, play with friends, and get ready for the next level—all while enjoying Saturday at the fields we love. Just like last year, we will have fun Rookie League team names!

Because we limit games to Saturdays for most age groups, Fall Ball spots fill quickly. We encourage families to register early to secure a place.

 

Season Details

Ages 5–12

• Games played on Saturdays only
• Season runs September 12 through October 17
• Rain date: October 24
• Practices will be minimal and at the discretion of each coach (maximum of one practice)
• Concession stand will be open throughout the season

 

Our schedule typically looks like this on Saturdays (subject to change):

Ages 10-12 - 10am-12pm

Ages 8-9 - 10am-12pm

Ages 6-7 - 12:15pm-1:30pm

Ages 5 - 12:15pm - 1:15pm

Ages 13–14

• Players will compete against neighboring towns
• Last season's schedule included Wednesday and Saturday games
• We will share the finalized schedule as soon as it is available

Please Note: There will be no Fall Ball programs for Lil Sluggers or Challengers this season. We look forward to seeing those players again in the spring!

 

What Makes Fall Ball Different?

Fall Ball teams are newly drafted each season and are based on the age your player will be by April 30, 2027 (the same age group they will play in next spring).

For example, if your player was a 9-year-old player this past spring, they will play in the 10-year-old division this fall.

This format helps players become comfortable with potential new fields, rules, and levels of play before the spring season begins. While games are competitive, Fall Ball is focused on player development, confidence-building, and having fun.

 

In the past the Fall Ball schedule has not conflicted with other youth sports and activities, though we cannot control changes made by other organizations.

Teammate Requests

Have friends who would like to play together?

Please email FallBall@bellinghamyouthbaseball.com with any teammate requests. We do our best to honor requests while maintaining balanced teams. (Players must be in the same age division.)

Siblings will automatically be placed on the same team unless otherwise requested.

 

Family Discounts

Have three or more children playing? Your third child plays free! This will be automatically applied in the registration form.
